Reinsurance means the “insurance of the insurer”
It is a type of contract in which the reinsurer undertakes to indemnify the insurer for losses that may occur as a result of its insurance policies.
When taking risks, insurers seek guarantees to honor their commitments in case of losses. Thus, they transfer part of the risks and premiums to a reinsurer.
Among the advantages of the reinsurance, we can highlight the increase in the capacity to absorb risks; the protection of financial health of insurers; and the transfer of knowledge in the sector.
CHALLENGE
After spending many years in the development sector making adjustments and corrections on the front-end. I saw the need to create a UI, based on an existing framework. We chose bootstrap to solve legacy systems and new web applications.

The process
The Design Thinking is an iterative process, which means you can go back to any of the steps if necessary. It's a flexible approach that puts user needs at the center of the problem-solving process, which often results in more effective, customer-centric solutions.

Knowns
- A lot of rework in the code part;
- No documentation;
- Front-end mixed with back-end;
- No version control programs;
- Deficiency in W3C standards;
- Standardization with Bootstrap.

Unknowns
- Training for new developers;
- Can be used for various types of languages. E.g., .Cfm, .asp, .php.

- Establish a development culture.
- Align with the project managers to determine the systemic overhaul priorities.
I have doubts about ...
Questions
- Are we going to measure the time for new service requests?
- Will we determine if it's advantageous to rebuild the application or perform maintenance?
- Separate the legacy systems that the CRM will eventually replace?
- Are we going to create our own code library?
- Where will the documentation be stored, digitally or on a network?
Blueprint
A visual representation or documentation that describes the structure, layout, and flow of a user interface in the Mobile Management System.

RESULT
A consistent interface for multiple internal applications developed in-house or by a software factory.
Situation:
In an increasingly digital and interconnected world, user interfaces play a fundamental role in how we interact with technology. Whether in web applications, user experience plays a critical role in customer satisfaction and the success of a product or service.
Tasks:
To create an effective user interface, it is necessary to address several essential tasks. First and foremost, understanding the needs and expectations of the target audience is crucial. This involves conducting user research, creating personas, and analyzing workflows to identify critical touchpoints.
Next, the front-end and UI teams must develop a solid information structure by defining information architecture and the layout of elements on the screen. This includes creating wireframes and prototypes to visualize the structure.
Actions:
During the implementation of the user interface, I, along with developers, work together to turn concepts into reality. This involves coding interactive elements such as buttons, forms, and animations. The focus here is to ensure that the interface is responsive, functional, and user-friendly on different devices and screen sizes. Usability testing plays a crucial role in this phase. Real users interact with the interface to assess its ease of use and effectiveness. Based on user feedback, adjustments and improvements are made to enhance the user experience.
Results:
A well-designed user interface results in a positive experience for the end user. This translates to higher customer satisfaction, increased user retention, and often higher conversion rates for companies offering products or services online.
Furthermore, an effective UI contributes to building a reputation of reliability and professionalism for the brand. Users feel more comfortable when using the interface.
In summary, a well-designed user interface is not only an important part of digital product development but also plays a fundamental role in creating positive and lasting experiences for users.
